QC Inspector

Summary: Perform quality inspections of Cables, Printed Circuit Boards (PCB), Circuit Card Assemblies (CCA), Brackets, Plates, Sub-Assemblies, Assemblies, Units and Kits in a factory environment. Ensures that the quality processes and procedures are integrated into the workmanship and products.

Responsibilities/Skills: Perform inspections of cables, printed circuit boards (PCB), circuit card assemblies (CCA), brackets, plates, sub-assemblies, assemblies, units and kits to ensure compliance with industry quality standards, IPC Standards and product documentation (Drawings & specifications). Determine acceptability of new built as well as reworked/repaired product. Document quality inspection in ICE data bases as appropriate, summarizing receiving, in-process, final product inspections and test data. Must be detail oriented judging product acceptability in comparison to identified specifications. Conduct visual & mechanical inspections. Enforce quality policies and procedures within company. Identify and conduct in-process and end-process product inspections. Inspect product using a microscope for an extended period of time. Overtime and holiday work can be required with short notice.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge/Requirements: Requires H.S. Diploma. Some college or ASQC training is desirable. Minimum 2 years Quality Inspection experience is required. Familiarity with Electromechanical Assembly and Printed Circuit Board Industry Standards (e.g., “J” standard and “IPC” standards) relating to Quality Inspection is required. Experience reading engineering drawings and publications, examination of electrical assembly components, and the use of manufacturing equipment/processes is required. Experience in the use of inspection hand tools, Optical Comparator, Coordinate Measuring Machines experience is required. PC & corporate mainframe computer experience, including MS Office is required. Must be able to be certifiable to company and department training classes. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing & Quality Auditing is desired.

Salary Range: $17.81 - $29.39/hour DOE

 

Staff Accountant

Summary: Performs a variety of general accounting support tasks in the accounting department. Tasks include accounts receivable processing, payroll, and fixed asset administration. Will reconcile transactions in these accounting areas with related functions and their reporting requirements. Consistency, accuracy, timeliness, positivity and a self-directed approach are required for success in this position.

Responsibilities/Skills: Reconciles bank statements for all operating accounts of the company. Enters and reconciles the company fixed assets into the CMI fixed assets system and reconciles the amounts to the general ledger. Assists with compilation of data used for federal and state tax return preparation to outside tax return preparers. Prepares A/R invoices for FFP, T & M and Cost + contracts as needed. Enters A/R invoices into the WAWF and Exostar system to effect payment from the government. Processes checks received, prepares bank deposits, records ACH payments from customers in accounting records. Works with Senior Controller to maintain necessary documents for contract close out with the DCMA. Maintains payroll data and reporting functions. Transmits payroll information to payroll service provider and ensures that payroll information is accurate. Performs analysis and review of data and develops reports for supervisor’s review. Recommends actions to resolve discrepancies and investigates questionable data. Works with Sr. and General Accountant to cross train in the various accounting functions. Assists the Controller or the Senior Accountant with other Accounting duties as assigned

Knowledge/Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent preferred. Minimum of Associate’s degree required. Minimum 1 year of accounting experience required. Microsoft Office experience with Intermediate Excel skills required. Familiar with standard concepts (US GAAP), practices, and procedures within project mfg a plus. Experience with a manufacturing ERP system a plus, but not required. Experience with DoD environment and the FAR a plus, but not required

Salary Range: $35,332 - $61,831/year DOE
