Software Engineer I

Summary: Designs, modifies, develops, writes and implements software programming applications. Supports and/or installs software applications.  Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software. 

Responsibilities: 

• Designs, develops, tests, modifies, installs, and updates software systems, applications, and databases.
• Maintains client confidence and maintains company operations by keeping proprietary information confidential.
• Collects and analyzes design information, software requirements, and/or technical data.
• Verifies design specifications, design requirements, and performs necessary calculations.
• Determines data input/output requirements and equipment requirements.
• Determines programming sequence, program features, and program layout.
• Independently works on smaller software engineering projects.
• Performs other duties as assigned. 

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 1+ year experience in electronics, electrical design or logic required.  Or 5+ years experience with an Associates degree will substitute.  Experience with C++ programming language required.  Knowledge of Visual Studio, SVN or Boost highly desired. 

Salary Range:  $45,532 - $61,923 - $78,315/year DOE
